At some point you have to eat.

And when you do, all the extra stuff disappears.
The curated spaces, the hype, the parts made for the internet.
If the food doesn’t work, none of it does.

That's Sage.

A cafe. It's not that complicated.

Who is this guy?

This is Chef Sanil Bhinde, Founder & CEO of Sage Café | Pantry.

Sage didn’t come out of nowhere.

He trained at the Kohinoor IMI School of Hotel Management and began his career with the Indian Hotels Company Limited (Taj Group of Hotels). Starting as a Management Trainee, he went on to head the All-Day Dining Kitchen at the group’s flagship property.

At some point, the food made its way to bigger tables.
State Dinners hosted for the Prime Minister, the President of India, and over 27 global Heads of State.

There’s also been time spent pushing the craft further.
Training to represent India at WorldSkills Abu Dhabi, guiding the national team for WorldSkills India, and serving as a jury member at Maharashtra Skills.

And then, he decided to build something of his own.
